Sam apparently decided he'd had enough time to cook and at 5am on August 29th, he began pushing his way into the world. 32 hours and a little surgical intervention later, he was born at 2:11pm on August 30th, 2009 - one day shy of our first wedding anniversary. At 36 weeks and 2 days gestation, he was the perfect preemie (of course, I'm his mom so I'm biased.) His stats - 7lbs, 3oz, 20.5 inches long, full head of dark brown hair, looking like the perfect mini-Matt.
