Don't worry girls, he has plenty of love to share...

Latest favorite Sam quotes

"Mom, you're not a man. I'll pull the wagon because I'm the man." This from "the man" who is pulling his finger painting, he snacks, and his sippy cup.

Me: Sam, let me take a picture of your black eye.
Sam: Wait, let me look sad first. Do I look sad now?

Sam at 3

Sam is now 3. Yes, that means I've skipped a whole year.  We have a new house and a pool.  Sam has become quite the fish and learned to swim.

This year has brought a big boy bed

And two new cousins
Cousin Caitlyn

Cousin Tripper

He lost the diapers, but not his Mickey

Sam has inheritied my love of blanky and snacks on the couch.

He's sweet and independent. He's funny, really funny. Sometimes he can be stubborn, really stubborn (he inherited that from me too.)  He's inquizative and perceptive. He's all boy - he loves to play in the dirt, loves everything with wheels, and doesn't sit still for long.  He can be timid and isn't much of a daredevil. He's afraid of the Merry-Go-Round and witches. He likes to sleep with the light on. He loves the color red just like his daddy did (he's moved on from green.)  He's a lover, not a fighter and we just love him. He's our little Sam.

Preschool Pics

Just before Sam turned 2, his at-home day care provider closed down to start at new career. It was off to "real" day care for Sam at Children's Adventures in Learning. After a few weeks of crying at drop off time, he finally got into the grove. One of the most amazing occurances at his new school was picture day. Somehow they managed to get him still long enough to take a picture... and cute ones too!

Sam's 2nd Birthday

Happy 2nd Birthday, Sam! Once again we decided go move during Sam's birthday. This year we rented out the reception room at our resort to throw a train party. There was cake...

and super annoyingly loud recycle trucks

On a more peaceful note, Sam loved his new wagon from Grandma Marge and Grandpa Tony

Sam definitely had the skill of opening presents down pat.
Yes, he was one happy 2 year old!
