Thankgiving and more G-parents

First they dressed me in pumpkins, now turkeys. It was my first Thanksgiving but I got gipped. They tricked me and put me down for a nap that lasted through all the turkey, stuffing, and pie. When I woke up, everything was put away, and they fed me formula. Gipped! Maybe next year.

I had my bib ready and everything. But all I got was this stupid picture of the feast...

On the up side, I got to meet my fourth set of grandparents! Grandma Marge and Grandpa Tony came out from North Carolina. How lucky am I? 7 grandparents! More people to hug me, love me, and buy me things. They played on the floor with me, made silly sounds that made me laugh, held me, and stayed with me while Mom and Dad went out for sushi.

The chair

My cousin, Shannon, sent me this cool chair. (I wonder where she gets her money from to buy neat things.) It's my very own with my name on it and everything. Hopefully the dogs can read and know it's mine, not theirs.

Kickin' back and chillaxin.

Hangin' with the big kids

I got to go to a real bar and hang out outside in the cabana with the grown-ups. My friend, Ethan, was there too. There was a rock band and colored lights. I liked it so much I stayed awake for hours which is quite a feat for me.
Mom's friends Shantel and Emily

Mr. Bear

Mary Beth bought Matt and I a huge bear for our engagement that would take an entire seat on a plane to get back to Phoenix. So the bear has taken up residence in Hockessin, Delaware and boy does it get a lot of attention.

Me and Mr. Bear - I'm over the picture taking.

Lila, Grant's sister, and Mr. Bear

-"What would you like for Christmas, Mr. Bear?"
-"A break from all these kids."

"Thanks, Santa!"

The cousins

I finally got to meet my cousin, Shannon. She flew to Delaware from Boulder, Colorado. She's one month older than me, but boy can she do some cool tricks. She can roll, grab her toys, drool all over, and even hold her head up - but her head isn't as huge as mine. I can't wait for next month when I can do all those cool things. We had fun playing on the floor gym together, sleeping through dinners at restaurants, playing with Santa, and hanging out with all the cool people in Delaware.

"That plane ride was tiring. Let's just lay here and hold hands."

"Ain't that the truth."

"Come over here and hug me."

"Why is there another baby on my gym? Move over."

"Hangin' with Santa. Is G-pop really under that beard?"

"Delaware is exhausting."

Delaware

I went on my first trip and got to fly on a plane. I hear it was neat, but I slept most of the way so I don't remember much. When we got off the plane and went outside it was freezing (in the 50's) and rainy. We definitely were not in Phoenix anymore. I met a ton of people!!! Pop-pop (I like to call him G-pop) Don, Mom-mom Carol, Uncle Dash, Aunt Brendan, cousin Shannon (those three flew in from Boulder,) Great Aunt Donna, Great Uncle Nino, cousins Michael and Nicole, Great Mom-mom Forgnoni, Great Grandmom Ash, and tons of friends. I got to meet the Oyerlys and Gills, but Mom's a slacker and apparently forgot to take pictures of us together. Of course, the Nice Lady was there too. Shannon and I have decided to call her Mi-Mi just like Mom's Great Grandmom Forgnoni. I like it!

Christmas in Delaware comes early!!
Me and G-pop look just like Santa!
Great-Grandmom Ash loves to hold babies. I was so comfy.

Uncle Dash - he's goofy

Hanging out with baby Grant who's 3 days old than me. His mom and my mom have been friends since 4th grade. They live in New York City. Maybe I can take a plane there some day.

Swimming

It was 85 degrees in Phoenix today (yes, it's November) so we took Sam for his first day at the pool. It was absolutely beautiful! The water was heated but a little chilly. Sam ate and napped al fresca. A fabulous time was had by all...

November update

Every day is something new. Sam is starting to smile (a little) and babbles (a lot.) He's a sleeping genius, just like his parents. He learned to put himself to sleep in 2 days and is sleeping about 8 hours a night, eats, and goes right back to sleep for another 4 hours. He didn't wake up until 6am today! Jury's still out to see if this will be a trend. His neck and core muscles are getting strong. He loves his gym with the flashing lights and music. It's a real baby disco! Here's a few pictures of what's been going on in November...
The Lopezes came to visit. They were Sam's first visitors in the hospital.
Sam loves to sleep in his Boppy.

Not sure if he loves his Bumbo chair yet, but he'll grow into it.
